So Microsoft has the best commercial ever! Do yourself a real favor and watch this whole video. I promise that it will be worth it!

See! Isn't that great. They had to do this as a joke, right?

They had to, right? I mean what advertising executive thought that was a good Idea??

I would hate to have that in my house, boring! I can't imagine they thought that was a good ad. Most people can't sing and that would be torture to listen to especially if I was singing! They really reached this time!

Are you kidding me? That was 4 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. Stupid SongSmith!

I completely enjoyed that. It was catchy, upbeat and I think I need the product!

Quite honestly, most of the time, I think we need more music in life. Our lives would be more fun if we had a soundtrack, musical movie style!

Plus, for those really lazy buggers out there...it's perfect. You don't have to learn to play any instruments!

Sign me up!

Why are you guys such haters??? I agree with Lisa. I loved the Ad, it was catchy, I found myself singing along.

Plus, I've always wanted to be able to write music and now with Songsmith, I can!!!! I sing my own songs to myself all the time and it will only be better with this new software. Way to go Microsoft!!! Bravo!!

Wow! Sure it is a good idea but did it need to be four min long. I mean really they could ahve stopped after the daughter showed her dad how to use it. It is a great idea becasue now all the lame singers like on american idol will think they are good, so we will have more lame singers to listen to on american idol so that i can get some good laughs.

I agree. Chinese food does give one the runs, even healthy people. I don't know if it's the week old oil or the fresh alleyway meats, but no doubt you will pay twice for eating it. Way to go microsoft!!!

I think many of you are missing the bigger picture. Songsmith is going to see this little family through some very tough times. Obviously the father will be coming out of the closet soon. Songsmith will allow for a stirring duet with mother and father about false love and betrayal. Then there are the tender sad songs the daughter will sing followed by some edgy rebellious songs. And finally there will be the love songs when mom finds a new hetero love and dad finds the true him. Ultimately bring this family to a grand final song. Beautiful.

Bryan, that's the worst soap opera I've ever heard about, and I think they all stink.

Did I watch the right commercial? Brokeback mountain the musical was quite inspiring. Maybe I'm going to the wrong link. If it was wrong, I don't want to be right. Keep singing Bryan, just keep singing.

"Hey Dad thanks to Songsmith I realize you might be gay"
"I could tell by your haircut and the way you hold that coffee cup and because my other Dad's named Dave"

"Yes Lisa, I'm a homo but we all know that's okay"
"And now thanks to Songsmith, the Asian clapping towel lady is taking you away"

(songsmith music changes to reggae)
"She's taking you to China to sell you for a price"
She promised me and the indian guy in this ad something very nice"

(songsmith changes to hip hop)
"Three weeks on a gay cruise line to Bermuda and St.Croix"
"And since, Lisa, you'll be out of here we can adopt a little boy (record scratch) boy-bbboy-boy bboy!!"

THANKS SONGSMITH!

My home has never been happier since we sat down and watched this Songsmith demo for FHE!!! We are just singing all the time. I wonder if micorosoft could encorporate Songsmith into Tony's c pap (his "snoring machine") so that we could have lovely music all night long?? Now that would be genious! How's that winter party planning??? Winter ends March 21, tic toc, tic toc!!!
