Do you ever have so many ideas in your head that you can't concentrate? Well I do. I have ideas about things from the national deficit to how to improve toilet paper. I also have many ideas on new blog posts. However I am so super lazy that I never do anything about these ideas. Well that all changes today. I'm going to act on my ideas. I will bring them from my mind and into reality. Just the blog ideas though, I'm still too lazy to do anything with the other ideas.
I have decided to post all of my recent blog ideas. But wait!!! If you read this post you won't get just one post or two post or three posts or four posts.....No you will get five posts in one actual post. That's right 5 for 1! Do you think its to good to be true? You'd be wrong. You won't get this deal anywhere else. But read now because I can't post this forever.
Post One
Today we went to Church. It was actually my first time back since my surgery. So after taking the sacrament I saw Hallie had a notebook and a pen that she was writing with. I took it from her to write her a question. We ended up writing back and forth for the rest of the meeting. I was impressed with her and wanted to share it. I will copy it word for word. My text will be in Red. Hallie's in Pink. (Duh)
Why don't you bear your testimony? Your old enough.

You shouldn't be. Your just talking to your Heavenly Father. You'll do great. I just know it!
No I won't. I'll do so bad.
Why do you think that? You are so sweet and have a great testimony. You've always been so good and smart about Church and the Gospel. Hallie, you have to believe in yourself! Your Great!
I will not do it and sure I'm good but I'm scared.
Heavenly Father wants to hear your testimony. The prophets have said it is very important. That's why Fast and Testimony Meeting is once a month.

Why? To share it with people? No. Not until I'm 10,11,12 or 13. I'M SCARED!
You became a member of the Church when your were 8. Heavenly Father believes your old enough. I know your scared. I get scared when I do it too. But do you have Faith? If Jesus died for us can't we do something that scares us?
I do have faith. I just don't want the people to laugh when they are not supposed too. That is why I am scared and I want to share it and I don't want to.
I understand but no one will laugh. Sometimes people laugh because they like it. You don't have to do it today, but soon!

It's up to you, Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost when you do it.But you need to know that you are old enough and that you are a member of this Church. It is expected of you to share your testimony. Not just for you but it also helps others. We are to serve others and one way is to bear your Testimony. Would you do anything Jesus asked you to do?

I have to say that as a Father I was so touched by Hallie. She is scared, which is natural, but she does have a desire to do what her Father in Heaven asks of her. If I had told her she had to go up I know she would have. And perhaps we both would have gone up if I could talk clearer. You'll notice that when I asked her if she would do anything Jesus would ask of her that she said yes. I can tell you that she did not even hesitate to write that response.
Since it is still Fast Sunday I want to Bear my testimony about what an example Hallie was to me today. She truly was teachable. What is so different about Hallie as my child and me as Heavenly Fathers child? Am I scared at times? Of course. I hope that I can be like Hallie though. Even though she was scared, by the end of the conversation she had excepted that she needs to do it. Was she excited to do it? Maybe not, but she was willing! I realized that I need to be more like Hallie. I don't have to like it and I'll probably be scared but I need to be willing. This was a moment that I will treasure for all my life. A moment that I wanted to teach Hallie but I ended up being the one who learned. I'm so grateful to be a father. And I'm especially grateful to be a child of God. I have so much to learn.

- She has never yelled at me. (I've tried and failed to get her to)

- She puts up with all my illnesses.
- She has taken care of me for 4 weeks since my surgery and never complained about how long my recovery was taking.
- She didn't complain when I couldn't go trick or treating with her and the kids.
- She's my Sugar Mamma.
- She always folds the laundry.
- She likes me.

So I bought some 3 Musketeers that are Mint flavor. They were on clearance. I like regular 3 musketeers and I thought I would be able to have some of those because they are soft. The package is done really well. It really made me want to eat the candy. It has a light green tint with a mint leaf on it.
Based upon the package what color would you expect the creamy inside to be? Well I expected green. Mint ice cream is green. Mint gum is green. Well Mint 3 musketeers are not. It was white. Oh sure it tasted fine but this is clearly a case of false advertising. Does any one else feel like this is just wrong and clearly a injustice? Please join me in my quest change the mint 3 musketeers to there appropriate light green color. My quest consists of every time I eat one I say out loud " these should have a minting green inside!"

Post Four
Poor Petey Boy. My dog Pete is a big old baby. He just wants to be around me. Since I had me surgery I haven't been able to take him out to run and play with him. He's been a little down lately.
I took him up green canyon last wed. We went a mile and a half up the canyon and then back out. He enjoyed it! Then on Thurs I took him to the park. But on Friday I wasn't feeling as good and I didn't take him anywhere. So Saturday morning came and since I was feeling much better and the girls were with Grandma and Grandpa Natalie and I decided to do some Christmas shopping. We were gone most of the day. So Pete was home alone. We have an electric fence and I cracked the garage so he could go in and out at his leisure.
I guess he got bored. He took a can out off of the shelf in the garage. Then he chewed it. I assume it was then that he discovered it was beef broth since I wasn't aware of him learning how to read. He chewed and licked this can for a while. So long in fact that it cut up his gums and tongue really bad. When we got home I saw that he was covered in red. Anywhere that he licked himself his white fur was blood red. I felt so bad. His water dish was red. I don't know how long he was suffering.
He acted normal. So I checked his wounds and it he wasn't bleeding anymore. I bathed him and gave him some much needed praise and love. But he is a normal dog and once he was wet he started licking himself again. Same result. I'm pleased to say though that he is doing great today. No more bleeding . Acting normal. But I still feel terrible.

I got nothing. I thought I had five posts but here it is late Sunday night and I guess my mind is empty. Good news though. If you actually read through all of this then you not only got 4 post for the price of one but I'm going to throw in a set of Zimbabwe Steak knives. I have been very touch by your post this last night. You have given me many things to ponder and think about it my life. I agree you have a saint of a wife.
I really like the story about Hallie and her testimony. She has a lot of faith and she would have gone up to the podium if you said, 'yes'.
The color green for Mint Mouseketeers doesn't bother me because green or white is probably the same. If you have a partition I will sign it to add up the numbers. I
vote for 'Saint' she is such a loving kind person and I love her tremendous engineering mind.
As far as Petey, sweet Petey, I am sorry he got hurt. I think he needs to be fed more and needs more exercise. He did look OK yesterday. Four for One is great!.

How very special she must be and I am so happy to see what a great Father you are (however I'm not surprised, after all you are the greatest!) Tell her there is nothing more pure than the testimony of a young person and that we all need to be reminded to be as pure as she is in that testimony. I would love to hear her bear her testimony!!

As for the 3 muskateers...don't give up! Yes, white is an appropriate color for mint, but they still did false advertising! They shouldn't put green on the cover if the mint ain't green! They deserve a strongly worded letter. Immediately. I once wrote a strongly worded email to Vlassic because I had eaten an inferior jar of their pickles. They sent me an apology letter and coupons. How else will they learn?
