It may be too early to judge... (but I'm going to anyway.) I don't think Luke or Jake are going to provide your retirement via their mad basketball skills. It's just a hunch I have.
Your best bet is bowling. Or maybe having all four kids start wearing matching outfits and creating a family band?! I see Sydney with a tambourine and a groovy headband. Luke's got the drums. Hallie is, of course, the lead singer. And jake...I'm guessing bass. Coordinated dances... "We're gonna keep on, keep on, keep on singing and dancing all through the night. Keep on, keep on, keep on doing it right."
And then, some day, when Luke's voice begins to change and he can no longer carry the high harmonies..."When it's time to change (when it's time to change), Don't fight the tide, go along for the ride, Don't ya see. When it's time to change, you've got to rearrange, Who you are and what you're gonna be. Sha na na na na na na na na Sha na na na naaaaaaaaaaaaaaa."
I have seen this little 'freak of nature' before and it is freaky. It's so amazing that he just wants to do all of this on his own. It's almost unbeleivable, oh wait, it is unbelievable. That dad is brainwashing his kid into believing that he wants to do this. No fifth grader wants to train for 5 hours a day all on their own! Have you seen the little russian body builder boy?? The parents claim that the kid just has this crazy desire to starve himself and bulk up. They don't pressure him into anything. Sure, uh-huh. It's ridonkulous. It's too bad that this little freak is going to stunt his growth and peak at 5'6". Good luck in the NBA freak.
Lisa, I love your idea! Cindy can make the custom costumes. (Sydney will of course, need a matching purse) I haven't seen a lot of musical talent in the kids yet, but with 5 hours a day practice, I think they will get there.

I am so very frightened that I knew those lyrics.
